Lucky Elixir

Hey there!

I wrote you a short story with a full one and half routes about a guy who saved up money to get a special elixir that makes him luckier in his life than normal. He simply has to stay in the desert to enjoy it.

It's an erotic romp in the desert, focusing on an inn girl and her sister, with just a touch of scenes available from a scrying ball, a device a purple-eyed orc gave you. It's also written in a fantasy world to give you a total escape from reality. The story is mostly text-based, but now includes a few images sparsely laid about.

Why I Wrote This Story:

I wanted to revamp the look of my stories to bring them into the twenty-first century. (Can we still say that nearly a quarter-century in?) And so I made a story that let me focus on that. In addition, I also wanted to show I can do hub-based stories, so I did just that.

As always, I tried to make a story that:

• Are person focused.
• Let your brain fill in the details.

This lets you maximize the enjoyment of the story by utilizing your own imagination to fill in the vague details I've left in the story. This way, you can understand the story how you want to, to maximize your enjoyment.

I made this prototype to test the Twine, Tweego, SugarCube workflow.   All the template code is available on my GitHub so other IF writers can check out the code and see things they'd like. Some novel features include:

• The ability to easily disable content.
• How pronoun changes are set.

• A server-side setup using Google's Firebase.
• The custom CSS used.
