If I can't change gender and race, why does the creation screen even have "breasts"?

(2 edits)

There are several different types of anthropomorphic characters in fantasy. By specifying that you cannot have breasts, you know which kind of lizard you're playing.

Protagonist characters in my story don't have a gender, instead, you can change either your pronouns or your set of genitalia. Depending on your definition of gender, this should work for you. If you're having an issue with this, please let me know. There may be a bug impacting your gameplay.

You can't change race because I am a single person, and writing variations for a half-dozen races would be too much of a burden for me to perform at this time. I'm still trying to get good at just writing with 3 (pronoun sets) times 4 (genitalia option) times 2 (breasts options), 24 options in mind! Though it is easier to (and I do) break these options down into constituent parts (tail v. no tail, for instance), I simply cannot at this time afford the time to allow multiple race choices while maintaining a viable product.

Need help? I can write damn good.

It's a kind offer, but I would like to be more established before I take on additional help.

Once you've reached the scene regarding the beetles there are one (or two) more passages. Though if you haven't done all the lounge scenes, there are more.

All I can give you right now is an apology for putting out a badly tested game. Please accept my apologies for my shoddy work. I hope this doesn't hamper your enjoyment of my series!

I'll update the game in about 30 minutes when I fix it. When I do, I'll edit this post accordingly. The issue has been fixed, please refresh your browser or redownload the game. You shouldn't need to restart the game for the scene to load.

The Problem:

There are three main routes you can take through the game to get there, and it looks like the "Game-End" message isn't firing for two of them after I changed how the style of the game looks. This is interesting because I did 0 logic changes in my last update. So did I have an issue before I did the style change that my testing missed?

That's a problem I'll have to look through version control to identify and learn from so that my future games can get better.
